I got my thinking cap on and... thought it might be useful to work out when I am most effective.
If you think of the brain in three sections:
Fine - playing the piano, designing something
Medium - driving or riding a bike
Low - eating, fighting badly
When my adrenalin is up and I feel threatened by brain shuts down into "Low" mode. This can happen in dangerous situations or when talking in front of strange people or when challenged aggresively.
So if I want the best from people it is probably reasonable to say that if I think about my actions and how I interact with others, I might be able to get better results.
